AdSense is the most widely used tool offered by Google and used by publishers to get advertisement on their on their blogs and websites. But putting ads on your webpages is not enough. Due to strict policies of Google AdSense a publisher must also keep tracking its ad clicks. Otherwise he may be a victim of invalid click activity. Keeping track of AdSense clicks is very important so that you can track valid and invalid clicks and if there is any invalid clicks you can report it to Google.

There are many tools that you can use to track AdSense clicks, but the matter is whether that tool gives you a better and up to date report or not. In this article I am talking about StatCounter and how to track your AdSense Revenue using this site. StatCounter is a website that gives the service to track visitors and it is most widely used all around the world. Using StatCounter is very easy, register for free or paid account and you will get a script code to put on your webpage. Paste it in your webpage and StatCounter will start tracking your visitors. But don't forget to block your IP address to prevent StatCounter to track your own visits.

So let's start! I'm going to assume that you are using StatCounter. Open your project and on the left hand side column click "Exit Link Activity". It will show you the exit links which a user has clicked to exit your site. If a user has clicked on your ads then you will see the links of ads. See below

How to track AdSense clicks

If you see any specific ad clicked many times from the same IP address then you can report about it to Google.
