Android or iOS: A Tough Choice!

Google and Apple are two most prominent players when it comes to providing operating systems for smartphones. Google has Android and Apple offers iOS for its devices. The main difference between these two systems is that Android is an open source software.

Therefore, any cell phone manufacturers can use it on their devices and can make some adjustments to it accordingly. Whereas, iOS is owned by Apple and no one else other than Apple can use it as an operating system on their devices.

There are many other considerable differences between these two giants. StealthLuck produced a video showing a direct comparison among these two industry leaders from a mixed perspective of usability and market sharing.

Interestingly, both of these dominating cell phone operating systems launched quite late in the evolutionary process of mobile devices. Android was first marketed in 2003 and Google bought it in 2007. Similarly, iOS was first observed on iPhone, produced by Apple, in 2007.

These portable devices, however, have been discovered way back in 1983. The noticeable difference that these operating systems have brought in this arena is inclusion of various kinds of applications. Users can perform almost all of kinds of activities through their cell phones excluding physical and biological activities.

The decision to choose one of the two genius solutions varies with varying users’ needs. For some Android is a better solution and for others iOS is the best depending upon their needs, desires, preferences, and most importantly style.
