Honor launched the Play 70 Plus, a budget-friendly 5G smartphone, in China on August 4, 2025. It’s packed with a huge 7,000mAh battery and solid features for a low price. Here are its price, specs and availability details.
The Honor Play 70 Plus has a 6.77-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and 700 nits brightness for clear visuals, even outdoors. It uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, made on a 6nm process, with a speed up to 2.3GHz, paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. This makes it great for everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and light gaming. You can choose between 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The phone’s standout feature is its 7,000mAh battery, one of the largest in its class, with 45W fast charging that can fully charge in about an hour. It also supports reverse charging to power other devices. Honor claims the battery lasts up to 23 hours of video playback or 12 hours of video calls and stays strong even after 60 months of use.
For photos, it has a 50MP rear camera with AI features like object removal and image expansion, plus a 5MP front camera for selfies. The phone is tough, with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and a Gold Label five-star drop resistance, surviving falls from 2 meters. It also has a side fingerprint sensor, a dedicated AI button, dual stereo speakers with Histen 7.3 sound, and runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0.
