Bungie has officially announced that its extraction shooter Marathon will release on March 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now live, with the Deluxe Edition offering early access starting March 2.
The date follows a leak spotted in Forza Horizon 5 ads, which Bungie confirmed with a new pre-order trailer showing intense PvPvE gameplay on Tau Ceti IV. Players take on the role of “Runners” in persistent worlds, fighting AI and others for loot.
