Finally, Google introduced an alternative to Flipboard. This new alternative is called Google Current. It is a Flipboard like application that allows you to read online contents like blogs, websites and all other online contents in a magazine format, straight onto your smartphones and tablets. It runs on Android and iOS enabled devices.
Getting started is easy, just download the application and choose which publication you want to subscribe and its ready. In Google Current you can add RSS, public Google+ streams, Google Reader subscriptions, video and photo feeds, etc.
Besides consuming your favorite content, you can also explore related content according to your tastes by using trending tabs.
It also offers you to view content when you are offline, just add the content to your library, everything stays in sync so its available when you're offline.
