Automatically Lock Your PC When You Move Away

Tired of locking your PC every time when you move away. Now there is a solution to automatically lock your PC. There is a software called Blue Lock to automatically lock your PC as you move out of a particular distance or area. Blue Lock is a software developed by Wuul and it uses your Bluetooth mobile as a key. It locks you PC when you leave the range of the signal (typically 10 m distance).

When you leave the range of your Bluetooth signal it locks your PC and when you return back it unlocks your PC. It's easy to use and you don't require any password or username anymore. If you lost your notebook PC your data will remained locked and will prevent your valuable data from falling into the wrong hands.


Now, how to use it to make your data secure. You need to download Blue Lock software first, link is given below. Install it on your PC or notebook. When you run the app it will detect all Bluetooth devices near your computer. Now select the mobile which you want to use from the given list and it will add the information in the “Lock Device” field.

You can set the time and it will search for this locked device every few seconds (depending on what timeout you have selected). If it doesn't detect your device then it will lock your PC until it detects your device again.
