Facebook is the largest social networking site. People use it to connect with their friends and relatives residing all over the world. You get status updates and messages from your friends.
There is no problem until you are connected with your family and relatives because you get messages in your own language, but what happens when you get a message from a friend that don't uses your native language or English. If you are living in India and you have a Facebook friend from China and he always updates his status in Chinese language then you can't understand it.
But now it is possible to translate any Facebook status update and messages of your friend who don't uses English or your native language. This has been possible because of a Firefox extension called Facebook Translate.
To revert it back click Untranslate and it will get back in its original language. You can select any of the given languages from going to Options by clicking the drop-down arrow of Facebook Translate in the navigation bar.
There is a similar extension for Chrome also called as Social Translate, but it is not working for me. If you want to try it go to the following link.
