The Top Tablets Out There If You Decide To Sell Your IPad

With the fairly recent launch of the iPad mini, you may have started to think to yourself, “should I sell my iPad for the new kid on the block?” Here I look at some tablet options for you if you do indeed decide to opt for a new addition to your gadget family.

Size Is Important

First things first, if you are an original iPad owner, then you will be more familiar with a ten inch screen, or there abouts. The mini however is Apple’s attempt to try and cash in on the smaller sized tablet market, with the gadget offering a smaller seven inch screen.

So, which should you go for? Here I break down some options for you in the ten inch and seven inch tablet range so if you do decide, “yes I do want to sell my iPad,” you will know what alternatives are out there.

Seven Inch Tablets

The Google Nexus 7 has received a lot of plaudits in the tech world and deservedly so, the price is typically a little lower than Apple’s mini offering, but in both cases, the more memory and features you want, such as Wi-Fi and 3G compatibility, the more you will have to pay.

The Nexus has a solid screen, plenty of apps in the play store and is fun to use as well.
The mini is a solid little tablet, offering Apple’s typical styling and build quality. It is obviously cheaper than the bigger iPad’s out there, but if you are still thinking, “should I sell my iPad for a mini?” – It will really depend on how much you prefer the smaller option

For a cheaper alternative to both, Blackberry also has its Playbook on the market. With prices now reduced as the firm tries to increase sales in its tablet offering, now might be the perfect time to invest in the Playbook – with an updated OS system it is a solid offering, but those familiar with the wealth of apps on Android and Apple may find themselves a little disappointed with what Blackberry currently has on offer.

These tablets are a great portable way to enjoy your movies, surfing the web and day to day activities to kill the time.

Ten Inch Tablets

Apple has bossed the ten inch tablet market for quite some time, the iPad offering consumers a solid build quality, style and relative ease to use, but now Google wants a piece of that pie and has launched their own ten inch tablet, the Nexus 10.

Once again the price undercuts the Apple, so if you think ‘what can I afford if I sell my iPad’ then, thanks to the fact that the Apple products are pretty good at holding their value, you may find you can pick up a Nexus 10 for very extra little cost.

As an alternative, the Microsoft Surface is another relative newcomer to the market. It is more fashioned to the ultrabook market than the tablet market, boasting a number of capabilities and extras and a keyboard as standard.

These tablets are still portable but are maybe not as easy to carry around as their seven inch cousins, instead the bigger screen offers more room to enjoy games, films and such forth - so when it comes to deciding which is for you, it really depends on your own preference.
