LG's New 4G LTE Smartphones For 2103

The mobile world congress began on Monday, 25th of February. Many manufacturers, it appears, are fighting hard to prevent leaks and keep their new releases quiet so that they can enter the market a bang. It has been the trend that manufacturers like to spring a surprise or two. Not the case with LG.

Progressive Detail Release

LG have been progressively releasing their phones during February, and the latest to come out is the F series range. LG's F series is designed to introduce competitively priced 4G LTE smartphones.  Each series has its own target niche it seems with LG.

The G series is targeted towards power users at the top end of the market. Their L series is for people looking or a stunning looking phone. The F series is, yes, affordable 4G LTE. So far, we know two phones in the F series, the Optimus F5 and the Optimus F7. We can probably expect to see and F3 and an F9 at some point in the future if past series can be used as a guide.

An Intro to The Optimus F7
This phone is a 4.7 inch touch screen with excellent specifications. The screen is 2 HD IPS as seen on the Optimus G. It includes a dual core 1.5 Gigahertz processor with 2 Gigabytes of RAM, and a 5 megapixel camera on the back, and 1.3 megapixel on the front. It also includes the benefit of running Android Jelly bean 4.1.2.

An Intro to The Optimus F5
The F5 is a level down from the F7. It has a 4.3 inch touch screen, 1.2 Gigahertz dual core processor, and 1 Gigabyte of RAM. It sports a 5 megapixel camera and 8 Gigabyte of internal memory. As with the F7, it includes micro SD capacity and, of course, 4G connectivity

Lots of LG Releases Ahead
The mobile world congress will include the F series phones, the L series 2, and the Optimus G pro from LG. These phones are likely to be released in Europe in the summer, and we seem to have a pretty comprehensive range coming out from LG.

LG have done well with their last releases. The LG Optimus G was very good and obviously the Google Nexus 4 produced by G was superb. They are fighting in a very competitive market and it takes more than phone quality to succeed it seems. Their reputation from other consumer electronics markets and recent partnership with Google, provide LG with a strong branding base.

HTC have been amongst the best manufacturers in 2012, but still failed to make a profit. Time will tell whether LG can carve out a significant portion of the market for them selves. It looks likely that they have the resources, the innovative creativity and the brand to do fairly well in this most competitive of markets.
