There are just short of 900,000 apps in the App Store. Thousands of apps are downloaded every second. With this mind-boggling number of apps, it could be easy to get lost and to find where exactly to start.
So I've made a short and quick little list here of a few apps that I've found to be e most used in my phone. There probably aren't "THE" best apps in the App Store, but in my book they are. A good app isn't just something that helps you tweet better or check your Facebook, but helps you do an ordinary task more efficiently, at least that's how I see it.
Some Useful and Best Applications in the App Store
1. Spotify
Spotify has completely changed the way I listen to my music, and how I find new music. This app allows you to stream music to your phone. It has millions of millions of songs, just about everything that's in iTunes is in Spotify.
Find any song you can think of in seconds! And it doesn't use up that much data. And even if that was a problem, you can save playlists to your phone and then listen to them whenever you like. There is a $10.99 a month fee to stream to your mobile device, but believe me, it's completely worth it.

2. alarm.com
alarm.com was developed by a home security company that I found called, Smith Security. They do majority of their work with Dallas home security systems, but are growing with Kyle home security systems and some of the other surrounding areas. This app offers complete access and control to all of your home's security system functions.
You are able to control the lights, thermostat, unlock and lock the doors, even monitor your home with any home security cameras you may have installed. All of which can be viewed and control straight from the app.
You can even set a radius around your home that if you were to step outside off with your home unarmed, it would send you a push notification and the allow you to arm the security system right then and there.
3. Evernote
This app is possibly one of the best, if not the best, note taking app in the App Store. You can sync and save all of your documents and notes to where it can be accessed from any device. Your computer, your phone, your tablet, all can access your documents at any time. This is a great app for any student, because of the instant acess to your classes notes, audio, pictures, all of it.
