When it comes to hot jobs, the Internet is not the place to look. It is not because the jobs you may do online are not interesting; it is just for the fact that there is so much competition online that there is hardly a living wage to be had.
Every single unemployed person and every person with a spare few hours per week are online looking for ways of making money. Here are ten of the hottest jobs from an online pool that is frankly tepid. Give them a try if you have the time or qualifications.

Every single unemployed person and every person with a spare few hours per week are online looking for ways of making money. Here are ten of the hottest jobs from an online pool that is frankly tepid. Give them a try if you have the time or qualifications.
1. A web developer or a web designer
Do not make the mistake of thinking that you can get away with using a CMS program and selling those. Not only is it obvious what you are up to, but also, they are going to want access to the root code or base code of your design, and it is unlikely that you are going to be able to provide it. Either learn how to write websites or find another type of job.2. Blogging for affiliate money
Hardly a “hot” job, but it is better than most, as the pot is fairly shallow when it comes to hot-online jobs. All you have to do with this job is write blog posts and post them on several different blogs. The blogs all have affiliate advertising on them which is what brings in the money. Hopefully, people will click on your adverts and you will get a few dollars in return.3. A cartoonist
You can sell your cartoons, your images, your graphics and your real-life or artistic photography if you like. If you have a creative outlet, then that creativity may be sold for a price. If you are good at what you do, then hopefully you may be able to migrate away from the Internet slightly so that you can make money offline too.4. Blogging for sponsors
There are websites that will pay bloggers to post reviews for “sponsor” money. They pay you in order to have you write positive things about their client companies. The companies pay you if you get enough traffic to the blog post. Be wary because a lot of these sites are bogus and they have plenty of ways of making you work for free and stiffing you out of your money, so be careful in your dealings with them.5. Creating WordPress themes for sale
There are lots of WordPress themes online, and you can be a creator of them if you wish. You can sell your themes on and you can make a bit of money if you can prove that your WordPress themes are very search engine friendly and/or responsive. You may even be able to sell it on if it is just a pretty good design.![]() |

6. Graphic design
If you have the skills then there is no reason why most of your work cannot come from online. You can work from home and work remotely. It is possible that your clients may want to meet you in person, but most of your work is going to happen over the Internet, as you will be working from home in most cases.7. Fill out surveys
There are companies that will pay you to fill out surveys. Just be careful of who you go with, as there are more scammers in this area than there are with sponsor sites for blogs. There are lots of websites out there that will have you working for free filling out surveys and never getting paid for them. Be extra careful in your dealings with these companies.8. A photo editor/shopper
If you are good at this sort of thing, you can have people send you work over the Internet and you can work on it all from home. It is a good bit of work if you can find it. The trouble is that it is hard to demonstrate your skill, as a lot of people use fake portfolios. Plus, there is a lot of competition out there, and a lot of clients will happily pay poor quality photoshoppers/editors because they do not know what is good from what is bad (or unprofessional/amateur).9. Proofreading
Proofreading is a lot harder than you may think, as the rules of written English are quite specific to the point of the occasional bit of contradiction. Knowing “proofreading” is a little like knowing accountancy. It is similar by the fact that the more you know then the better you are at your job. There is no reason why you cannot conduct your proofreading business online, as it is not a job that requires your presence at a certain location.10. A programmer
Any sort of programmer is going to make you money from someone, even if you can only program with VB or the older C version. There are still people out there who want Windows programs and mobile apps, all of which you may provide remotely. Programming at this level does not require you to go into the office every day, as you can do it all from the comfort of your own home and post your results to your employer.About the Author:
