Samsung Galaxy J2 - An affordable 4G LTE smartphone

Samsung has unveiled its most affordable new Galaxy J2 handset, priced at Rs. 8,490. The Galaxy J2 hanset will be available for sale in Inida On September 21 as well. The phone has three color variants Black, White and Gold.

The new Galaxy J2 has been developed in the company's India R&D facility. The phone comes with the new ultra data saving facility powered by Opera Max, which lets users allow or block individual apps while using mobile data and save data, you can do this by enabling data optimization at the same time. The new ultra data saving facility seems to provide 50 percent savings in data and can free up to 11% RAM.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy J2 features a 4.7-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) with Super Amoled display. The Smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage capacity which is expandable further via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, with the TouchWiz UI on top, and has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The Smartphone comes with dual-SIM support and measures 136.5x69x8.4mm.

You'll find 4G support too in new Galaxy J2 and it also supports LTE bands in India. In terms of other connectivity options the phone has other features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB. The Samsung Galaxy J2 packs a 2000mAh battery.
