Send Files to Dropbox Quickly

Don't bother to log in to your Dropbox account if you want to send files to Dropbox. Now you can send files to Dropbox quickly. Here I will explain two methods the first on is from Windows Send To option and the other is using third party tool which you can you to send files to Dropbox. You can choose the better one and I think the first method is better. So lets start by following these simple steps.

Send Files to Dropbox Quickly and Easily

1. Using Windows Send To Option: Download and Install the Dropbox app on your PC. Now go to your home folder which contains folders like Downloads, Desktop, Contacts, etc. From your home folder go to AppData >> Roaming >> Microsoft >> Windows >> SendTo. My home folder is named as Books. See below:

You can also paste the following string in the run command to go to SendTo folder.

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

Now drag the Dropbox folder by pressing right click mouse button into the SendTo folder and click Create shortcuts here.

It will create a shortcut of Dropbox in the SendTo folder. Now go to any file and send it to Dropbox folder by right click >> SendTo option.

2. Using Third Party tool: You can also use a third party tool called Dropbox Shell. It is a very handy tool for Windows to send files to Dropbox. When you install this tools you will get some more options in your right click menu. So when you want to send any file to Dropbox just right click and select the folder in which you want to send the file.
