It always happen that you subscribe for newsletters and other information to get it directly into your inbox. But sometimes by mistake or on misleading information from others you subscribe to get emails from senders you are not interested.
So if you have subscribed for emails and don't want to receive any more mails from that sender then the first option is to unsubscribe that newsletter but if it doesn't have the option to unsubscribe then you can set it to automatically delete all mails from a specific sender.
So how to set up. Just follow the steps below.
• Sign into your Gmail account
• Click the gear icon
in the upper right to go to the settings.
• From Settings go to Filters tab and create a new filter.
• Now you will get a pop up window. Enter the sender's address or title in the From field.
• In other fields like To, Subject, Has the words, etc you can enter information according to your condition. Now click Create filter with this search.
• Now, in the next window you will get options which you can assign to this filter. You have to delete all mails so tick the check box in front of Delete option and click Create filter.
For example I want to delete all mails coming from Google Sites, so here how I create a filter.
In the From and Has the words fields I have mentioned Google Sites and I have ticked Delete check box (see the first image). And now all mails coming from Google Sites will automatically delete and go to Trash folders.
