Simple Tips To Free up Hard Disk Space
The first thing is you should check your disk space. To see it click the Start button

This is a Windows program and you can run it by going to Start Menu >> Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> Disk Cleanup. Running disk cleanup removes all unnecessary system files, temporary file and removes files from Recycle Bin.
2. Uninstalling Old Programs
With the advancement of technology there are new versions of software and applications available and you sometime install new versions without deleting old programs or you sometimes install alternate programs which captures more disk space. So if you want to install new versions of software you can update it software itself rather than downloading a new updated file.
3. Deleting Restore Points
People use system restore to get back their system files to at an earlier point in time.And to use system restore you have to create a system restore point. 4. Take Backup of Old File to DVD or CD

5. Adding Another Hard Disk
If, after trying all of the above tips still your disk is not free enough then you can try to attach a new hard disk whether external or internal to your system. Adding another hard drive will give you much space to store your data.
6. Clear Download List from Download Manager
If you use download manager to download files from the web then you must clear the list of downloaded items from the download manager. Also from browser's in-built download manager.
