Gadgets for Camping Trip
There's few times in life when we can feel like real men. You know what I'm talking about, right? So we can act like the way they used to act a thousand years ago. So we can sleep on the ground and catch our own food. Cook it with our bare hands.

Nowadays you sleep on a nice comfortable bed and your wife picks up your food from the supermarket. When you go camping you are free. Nothing could be more exciting in the world.
But that's not all. A thousand years ago they would be so uncomfortable. They'd be cold, they would have to spend ages making a fire, and everything would be that little bit harder.

That's not going to be the case for you. There's a few select gadgets you can take with you and it will make your trip a hundred times more enjoyable. They never had gadgets in ancient times and it must have been boring, but let's see what you should take with you on your next trip.

Portable fishing rod

When you head off into the woods you definitely don't want to take too many cans of beans with you. It's going to be far too heavy and weigh you down. That means you're going to have to go looking for your own food. If there's a lake where you're camping you could easily spend the day enjoying yourself by the water while you fish for your dinner. Just take a simple portable rod and some basic equipment. That should definitely see you right.

Solar powered backpack

You don't really want to be stuck with absolutely no electronic equipment when you don't need to. Just take a solar powered backpack and you will always have somewhere to charge your favorite gadgets. If you decide to take your MP3 player with you it won't run out of battery. This could be important if you are not a good fisherman because you will be waiting all day for a bite.

A Leatherman

The Leatherman is the ultimate man gadget. You have a fantastic knife, but then depending on the model you get a range of other attachments. You never know when you'll need some of them and having a Leatherman handy is a great idea. If you eventually catch some fish you will need to gut them. If you take a few bottles of beer you will also be able to open them. Now you can see it's vital.

Parachute silk hammock

During the day you want somewhere you can relax that doesn't involve sleeping in your tent. Take a hammock made of parachute silk and it will fit neatly into the bottom of your backpack. It's also very comfortable and you won't regret it.

Mess kit

There's a lot of cooking equipment these days, but none come close to the enjoyment of cooking with an army mess kit. It's great cooking over an open fire and as long as you have a lighter with you it won't be hard. The mess tins will easily fit into your backpack and they are easy to carry around.
