When talk turns to mobile phones invariably the topic of the iconic, the classic, the unbeatable…. Drum roll… Nokia 8210 comes up. That phone was so good. MY Mum used one for over 8 years. In that time I had LG, Motorola, Blackberry and Samsung all fail on me in that time. “They don’t make them like they used to” is the common quote isn’t it!
Nor should they make them like they used to. They should improve, be enhanced, become stronger and become more powerful. With 12, 18 and 24-month contracts many manufacturers seem to think that is the lifespan required. Is this not wrong?
Nokia have wheeled out the scientists for this one packing in image stabilization, a brilliant processor and an amazing screen. They have decided that thin is not beautiful and made a sensible phone that looks like it will last 8 years if given the chance.
In our reminiscence we can now turn to a top 5 Nokia phone and say will this Lumia 920 have the same impact. Phones come and go nowadays because of the contract business model. But this Lumia really is something good.
So when you are looking at phones in Carphone Warehouse, or on-line, take a look at the Nokia Lumia 920. Let’s support the Nokia brand instead of going for the easy decision in a Samsung or and Apple iPhone. Let’s help Nokia, who have stood true to great core values to thrive once again.
It can really be confusing. I truly think that the Apple iPhone series is riding the success of the brand rather than the quality of the phone so why can’t Nokia get a bit more support from us.
Let’s focus on that. What is the worst phone you have ever had and why?

Latest Nokia Phone
The latest and best Nokia on the market is the Nokia Lumia 920. It is a high-end phone competing with the like of the HTC Droid DNA, iPhone 5, Google Nexus 4 and Samsung Note II for the mantel of best phone ever. In my opinion it gets pretty close.Nokia have wheeled out the scientists for this one packing in image stabilization, a brilliant processor and an amazing screen. Brand Loyalty
Nokia hold a place in my heart. They have been around so long and seem to have ridden storm after storm and are still coming back with great phones. The iPhone 5 is not as good as the Lumia 920, but will sell millions and millions more. Just as iPhone have their loyal fan base, 5 million re-release iPhone 5 orders is testimony to that, Nokia should have theirs. In our reminiscence we can now turn to a top 5 Nokia phone and say will this Lumia 920 have the same impact. Your Decision
Rant over… the problem is that there are so many great phones. There is the HTC Droid DNA (maybe the best), the Samsung Note II, The Samsung Galaxy S3, the Google Nexus 4, the iPhone, the LG Optimus G and many more.It can really be confusing. I truly think that the Apple iPhone series is riding the success of the brand rather than the quality of the phone so why can’t Nokia get a bit more support from us.
. . . . .
As we talk about reminiscing I think back to my worst phones. I had an LG shiny thing with a slider that was terrible. It clunked. It froze. It didn’t let you talk to anyone even after three replacements.Let’s focus on that. What is the worst phone you have ever had and why?
