eBay has released an official application that takes every last function of an eBay buyer or seller account and redesigns it to take advantage of all that Apple’s iPhone has to offer.
You can bid on items, sell items, take pictures of certain products, and watch items that you’re interested in all from your iPhone’s screen. The application will also give you alerts when you’ve been outbid or when an auction is about to end, which will help make sure that you never miss out on that prized item again.
Tap on the listing for a particular auction to learn more about it. All of the information present on eBay’s main site will be present on your iPhone’s screen. The information will just be reformatted to take advantage of a smaller screen size.
Any change that you make to your eBay account in the iPhone application will be reflected in the main account page in a computer’s Web browser. The reverse is also true. For example, if you were to bid on an item on your computer, that bid will immediately be reflected within the official application on your Apple iPhone.
Before buying an iPhone, Laura recommends that you always check the iPhone deals available, especially where internet and data usage is concerned.

Step 1
Visit the iTunes App Store and download the official eBay application (if you have not loaded the company’s software onto your phone already). The official eBay application is free of charge, so you don’t need to pay for third party applications that offer the same functionality and control over your account.Step 2
Tap the blue “Agree” button to agree to eBay’s terms of service. If you want the eBay application to send you “Push” notifications on your iPhone, tap the “Okay” button that appears on screen. The application will send you notifications if you’ve been outbid on an auction, if an item you’re selling is purchased, if an auction you’re watching is ending soon and in other types of situations where such an alert may be necessary.![]() |

Tap “Sign In” to redirect to the main application window, which will now display information from your own eBay account.Step 4
Use the buttons at the top of the screen to select from various auctions that you’ve interacted with. For example, you can tap the “Watching” button to view a list of all auctions you’ve added to your watch list. The “Buying” button will show all of the auctions you’ve bid on, while the “Selling” button will show all items you’re currently selling.Tap on the listing for a particular auction to learn more about it. Tap the “Search” button at the bottom of your iPhone’s screen to search for auctions by keywords. Once you find an auction you want to bid on, enter a bid into the box on screen and tap the “Bid” button. If you want to purchase a particular item using any applicable “Buy It Now” feature, tap the “Buy It Now” button to check out using the PayPal address associated with your eBay account.Any change that you make to your eBay account in the iPhone application will be reflected in the main account page in a computer’s Web browser.
