Mass Effect: Infiltrator undeniably belongs among the ranks of its console counterparts. This latest addition to the Mass Effect series was optimised for the iPad and features high-resolution graphics that you have to see to believe. Once you’re in your first firefight, you’ll be hooked.

Infinity Blade II - £1.95

Infinity Blade II is, hands down, one of the best games that mobile gaming platforms have to offer. The graphics will make you feel like you’re playing it on the PC, to say nothing of the sound quality. Hailed by IGN as the ‘Mobile Game of the Year’ of 2011, Infinity Blade II is filled with nonstop action; giant warriors will come at you faster than you can chop their heads off.
