Gameplay Modes in Metal Gear Online (MGO)
There are total of 7 gaming modes available in Metal Gear Online. These are as follows:Deathmatch
In this mode pits players are fighting against each other. The winner of the battle is one that has killed most of the enemies.Team Deathmatch
It is also like the Deathmatch, the only difference is that there are two teams consisting of groups of players. The count of enemy kill by each player in a team is added to the score of a team.Capture Mission

Rescue Mission
It is also like Capture Mission mode of MGO but here exists only one target i.e. GA-KO. One team has the responsibility of defending GA-KO in their base while the other team target GA-KO in order to bring it in their base. The winner is the one that kills all the members of enemy team.Base Mission
Base mission game play mode planned to capture and defend small areas that are dispersed all over the map. A team wins if it grabs a hold of all the bases, or has more bases as compared to enemy team when time runs out.Sneaking Mission
Sneaking Mission mode chase Team Deathmatch rules with only difference of additional 11 or more players and snakes. A team is considered to be winning team if it gets three tags of dog from other team within the limited time period. A team can also declare itself as winning team if it killed more snakes than enemy team or have more score as compared to opposing team when time runs out.Team Sneaking Mission
In this gaming mode one team which is outfitted with stealth camouflage tries to get KEROTAN and / or GA-KO to their aim area, on the other hand the opposing team defends these items. A team can claim for its victory by killing all the members of enemy team.Metal Gear Online or MGO lets you to play this game in first as well as third person mode. In order to increase your experience in first person mode you should earn some skills like gaining more and more zoom etc.
However first person mode is chosen when a player makes a precision shot, it cannot be used for handling each situation. If a player wants to access third person shooting mode then it can be accessed by clicking L1.
If a third person shooting mode player wants to enter first person shooting mode then he need to press Triangle button which is present on DualShock3 or SIXAXIS.
