The internet has captivated every sphere of people’s life. Everywhere we go, everything is connected with the Internet. Job searches, food recipes, world news, huge amount of pictures, music, and much more we can find in the Internet.
It is less and less possible to see a person with a book, a real paper book. Instead of it we can observe a person exploring the Internet. If earlier people had an opportunity to work in the Internet on their computer, now you may see almost everyone with a tablet or a smart phone in their hands being absorbed in the web nets.
So, are we Internet-possessed these days? What would we do without the Internet? Life would stop without the Internet. Nowadays, I mean. Earlier we did not have computers and were happy without them. Yes, the world of technology is developing, and now we have a lot of gadgets and facilities that could not be invented without a computer.
Still, what bothers me much is the childhood of our children. They are living in the computerized world and have fewer opportunities to have a valuable childhood. Mothers are too concerned about their children learn how to use the computer, as early as possible. My friend wants to buy a computer to her five-year-old daughter, I just do not understand why. She says, she wants her daughter to be able to use this gadget before she goes to school.
Going back to my childhood, I remember how we used to spend the whole day outside, independently of the season. Communication in real life is much more useful than that one through the Internet.
People become lazier as they know, they can say “hi” online and that would be enough, and they can go and do the things they need. Without the Internet we would have all that gatherings while having a tea, chattering with the people you really love and happy to spend your time with. Isn’t it amazing?
Internet has taken away a part of our life. What is more, Internet liberates people, while in the real life they can be modest, and this is no good. The Internet deprives us of the possibility to live and enjoy this beautiful life. How many things could be done if there was not this powerful absorbing net!
As a rule, young men got used to make courtships through the Internet. Yes, it allows them to show their feelings more freely. But why not get up and go and buy a bouquet of flowers to the girl you admire? So few men are there who really act, not just talk!
Life is not boring without the Internet! Do you remember the scent of a paper book? Or at least, do you know it? Give your brain some “food”, read a book. You will like it, for sure. The libraries at home is a rare occasion nowadays, everybody reads those electronic books, causing big problems to their health because of a constant use of the computer.
