This may mean that the next Samsung flagship phones will change its formerly long-time used plastic cover to the more popular metal cover.
According to the France website, the size of the next generation Galaxy S phone is 143.83mm×72.27mm which is bigger than the Galaxy S4 of 136.6mm×71.8mm. So this is quite consistent with the previous report by Korea media that Samsung Galaxy S5 may be equipped with 5.2 inches touchscreen.
Meanwhile, according Sammobile previous report, Samsung launched display screen with the resolution up to 2560 × 1440 will be mass-produced, and this message has got confirmed by Samsung Display department CEO Kinam Kim, and he also indicated that this display screen will be applied on the phone in a very short time. So we can presume that next year launched Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to adopt this display screen with the pixel density of 560ppi.
And according to previously announced information by Samsung, this 5.2 inch touchscreen with WQHD (2560 × 1440) resolution, which is of the 560ppi super-high resolution (with such high resolution, you can have a better experience to play DVD on Galaxy S5), needs a more powerful processor to process the image.
So the rumored Samsung Galaxy S5 will use its latest own-produced 64-bit Exynos 6 processor and may be equipped with 4GB internal storage capacity, and this will make a better support for Samsung Galaxy S4.
From the information we got recently, Samsung Exynos 6 series processors will use 20-nanometer process technology and the standard ARM Cortex-A50 architectural design. The operating voltage is lowered from 1V to 0.9V, which can bring better performance in the respects of low power consumption and low heat. Also it is alleged that the performance of Exynos 6 series will be better than that of Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor by 1.53 times.
There is no doubt that Samsung Galaxy S will be equipped with 16-megapixel camera. And from the leaked Samsung technology roadmap, Samsung seems to launch its flagship phone adopting ISOCELL image sensor of 16-megapixel. Besides, it is also rumored that the eye recognition function will be included in Samsung Galaxy S5 and Android 4.4 will be applied on it.
Galaxy S5 may also add waterproof and dustproof functions. Unlike Galaxy S4Active and Note 3 Active, this version will not cut down the configurations to exchange for such functions. This technology has been achieved in Galaxy S4 Active, so it is reasonable to introduce it to Galaxy S5.
According to the Korea website ETnews report, Samsung has already prepared for the brand new Galaxy flagship phone Galaxy S5. And it will be mess produced in January 2014. The final official release time probably will be set in February or March 2014.
