There is no official information released by Samsung for its upcoming phablet, the Galaxy Note 4, but rumors of this next-gen high-end phablet are already surfacing online. In this article we are not going to give any foolproof information about Galaxy Note 4, but will throw some information of what you can expect.
Samsung had failed to give its smartphones a premium look because it still uses plastic as the main build material. From last couple of devices Samsung has tried to change the way its devices looks, but it's not quiet enough.
In Galaxy Note 3 Samsung introduced faux-leather back tried to change our perception, but the faux-leather turned out to be actually plastic just like the rest of the smartphone’s body.
In Galaxy S5 the company also tried something different, but it was not completely different. Now you can expect something new and different in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, new design and new build quality.
One of Samsung representative confirmed to Reuters that the company’s upcoming phablet will have a “new form factor,” which might be a confirmation for the rumors saying that Note 4 will have Youm-like display.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3 at IFA event at Berlin, and there is a reason why?
Because Samsung wants to bite an even larger chunk of iPhone’s market share pie. Remember it's the same time when Apple launches it's devices, and this fall Apple's large display iPhones are rumored to be coming.
The Galaxy Note 4 will be a power packed device featuring a quad-core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor. However Snapdragon 801 isn't the most powerful unit and Qualcomm will debut Snapdragon 805 in the second half of the year and therefore Samsung might be using one of them.
Chances are we’ll see the Note 4 equipped with a Snapdragon 805 SoC with quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU and Adreno 420 GPU with 4 GB RAM. Anyway, Samsung has done stranger things in the past so we shouldn't rule this one out. The Galaxy Note 4 might sport 5.9-inches display, and it's not a confirmed report but, just an educated guess based on Sammy’s previous launches.
LG's upcoming device the G3 is rumored to have Quad HD (1440 x 2560) display which is twice the display of current flagships, the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. So we might see the same resolution for Note 4′s display and could arrive with the same 16 MP camera. Other features include - LTE Cat4, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, NFC, IR blaster, and microUSB 3.0.
Currently the latest Android version running is KitKat, and If Google launches a new version of Android at least a couple of months before the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date, the next-gen Samsung phablet could run it out of the box. So these were the expected information for the Galaxy Note 4.
