Assign Tags To Your Bookmarked Sites For Easy Access

While browsing the web you come across various websites that are very useful and you love to bookmark those websites. But, have you seen the list of bookmarked sites you have created? Over a period of time your list will full of websites and if you want to open a website you have to spend lots of time in searching it. So what is the way to get out of it. A simple answer which a layman can also give is don't bookmark too many websites. But this not going to solve your problem.

A better solution is to solve the problem is to organize your website for ease of access. Now, how to do this? You can do this by assigning tags to your bookmarked sites. This option of assigning tags is available in Firefox, in Chrome you can assign tags but you cannot assign same tags for two websites. So here this differs from Firefox. In Firefox you can assign one tag to as many website as you like and by typing the tag you will get the list of all websites assigned with that tag.

Now, how to do this? First go to your bookmarked site and if not bookmarked yet create it. Now click on the star icon from where you bookmarked your site and there you will get the option of Tags as shown in below image.

Enter the tags, you can enter the tags related to website for easy remembrance. I have entered two tags Social-websites and assigned all social website under it. To open a website type the tags in the address (location) bar and you will get list of all websites assigned with that tag.

This way you can create different tags to organize your favorite websites for easy access.
