Internet Download Manager is one of the best and award winning download manager/accelerator. It is a small software yet more powerful and effective. If you have used IDM then you must have noticed that it has 16 connections, but by default it uses only 8 connections. If you configure it you can use all 16 connections which will improve your download speed and will give maximum result.
So let's start configuring IDM
Get Maximum Download Speed From IDM
• Download IDM from internetdownloadmanager.com and install it.• Now run IDM and go to Options -> Connection.
• Under Connection Type/Speed select LAN 10Mbs or 512 k Cable/DSL/Other. Under Default max. conn. number select 16. Below this option click New and enter your service provider site URL or GPRS URL which you are using and select max. number connection to 16 and click OK.
Now start a download and you will see that IDM is now using all the 16 connections.
