Today teens have game apps on their cell phones and Nintendo DS. Working teenagers in 1982 made around $80 a week while teens working eighteen hours per week earn on average over $130.
Kids today are actually raising their SAT scores (1,011 in 2012 vs 997 in 1982.) The percent of teenagers attending college is up by about 20% in 2012 as well.
