You think more of cell phones, Twilight and Katy Perry, right? What are the biggest differences between kids who grew up in 1982 and who are growing up in 2012?
In 1982 kids didn't even know what a cell phone was. In 2012, almost three out of every four kids and teenagers have one. Hand held video games in 1982? Unheard of! Today teens have game apps on their cell phones and Nintendo DS. Working teenagers in 1982 made around $80 a week while teens working eighteen hours per week earn on average over $130.
