The evolution from the normal USB port to a smaller one was kind of normal because some devices began to be smaller and could not support that much taken space. This means that in order to make even smaller drivers, there is the need to implement the mini USB. The game with flash drivers is to make them smaller in physical size, yet larger in capacity. This can be done with ease with the new ports that are totally useful and comprehensible.
The usage of the mini USB ports is quite extensive in most areas of electrical devices. This is going to be the trend until a new type of port will be designed. The reality is that the world seeks reduced sized that have increased power. This is the only manner in which gadgets are able to evolve. What the future will bring in terms of ports and USB is to be seen later on.
