Samsung has made the confirmation that the Galaxy Tab 4 family of tablets are coming soon. They will come in 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch display sizes, and will be very much aimed towards the mid-range market. All three tablets, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will launch with LTE Category 4 capability from the get-go, along with Samsung services like Link and WatchOn.
Since they are aimed for mid-range market therefore the specs are not very high, such as 1.2GHz quad-core processors, 1200 x 800 resolution screens, Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card slot.
These tablets will be available in two colors, black and white, but we'd also expect coloured variants in other countries at some point in their lifespan too. Prices and regional availability are yet to be revealed, but Engadget suggests that they will be available this quarter, so expect to see them any time from now until the summer.
