Google to be Working on a New Redesigned Gmail for Desktop Version

New images of completely overhauled Gmail for desktop version is surfacing online. These images were obtained by Geek.com, it shows a slide-in menu on the left-hand side that might replace Gmail’s current setup. In the new layout Google will change the feature to star important items and will introduce a pin system that lets you prioritize the emails you see first based on importance.

Another feature is that, it's designed to function across a variety of screen sizes without losing functionality. The new interface also include a Google Hangout drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner.

Redesigned Gmail

Google will remove the sidebar that contains options like labels, folders, and Google Hangouts, rather it will go for a sliding menu similar to the one found in Google+ and other Google services. If you like to read your email in a full display then the setup lets you open everything up.

It also provide the option to shrink the window down so you can glance at your Inbox whenever you need it. The change is good and feel seems promising, but there is no confirmation when Google might make it available to the public.
