Now that many of the online community has been using Apple products since they were in grammar school, it is not uncommon for each of us to have accidentally erased some very important data from time to time, resulting in the need for an instant hard drive recovery software for Mac iPads, iPhones, and iPods.
There are many options on the market, but Disk Drill seems to be the preferred choice among Mac users by far. Even though Macintosh makes a terrific product, the Apple iPod is notorious for being perhaps the most portable device on the planet.
This makes it a prime target for human error in the form of dropping it on the ground, kicking it across the room, or having it accidentally fall into the sink, toilet, or pool. For some reason, when it comes to our tunes, life as we know it will cease to exist until we find that perfect software for hard disk recovery of Mac’s.
Of course, in the meantime, in these rather emergent situations where your iPod becomes temporarily waterlogged, we have quickly learned that storing the device inside a container of rice is a common first step to trying to save your invaluable digital music files, videos, and audio books currently being stored inside. However, rice will not solve all of your problems. After all, we can always buy a new iPod, but who wants to download all of that music again!
All you have to do is first download the free software from Cleverfiles. Install Disk Drill on your Mac by dragging the app from DMG to Applications folder. Attach your iPod to your computer. Your iPod should be automatically recognized. Initiate the Disk Drill software, and a screen will instantly appear with a complete list of drives for your review.
Your iPod will be one of them. Please, not that Disk Drill is able to recover data from iPod Classic, Nano, Shuffle or Mini. Then simply click on your iPod hard drive and select the “recover” button. Disk Drill will start scanning your iPod will show you a list of files that might be recovered. On the next step you should click the "eye" icon next to each file name to preview it.
Then you will need to preview each song or video to be sure that they are recoverable. Select the files or folders on your iPod you want to restore and click “Recover” button again. That’s it! Disk Drill does all the work for you!
Good thing is that while recovering music from iPod you can recover the whole Music folder or individual MP3s.
For quick and easy Mac hard drive recovery, Disk Drill always seems to save the day!
