Plastic is not a premium quality build material, still mobile companies are using plastics as the main build material in their smartphones. Samsung has been using plastic in almost all of their devices, from low-end to high-end flagship devices.

Now it seems HTC is also going in the same way by using plastic as their build material. A tweet from @evleaks shows the image of a mysterious device dubbed the HTC M8 Ace. If we believe on rumors HTC is bringing this device as an answer to the Samsung's Galaxy S5, with all-plastic design and specs also to be nearly identical with a 5-inch 1080p display and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.

However the biggest point of attraction of the M8 Ace, will apparently be its price which will come in for a significantly lower price than Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S5. There is a reason why we are expecting the price of M8 Ace to be cheaper, it's because the current flagship the HTC One M8 uses higher-quality materials than the Galaxy S5 and still the prices are nearly equal.

So if the HTC opt for plastic material which it’s apparently planning to do with the Ace, we should expect a significant price drop. There is no official information regarding the device, so we've to wait for official words from HTC. If you have more information you can share in the comments.
